Interpreting

How does it work?

As an interpreter, it is my job to help you overcome the language barrier and make sure that everyone can understand everything. I will make sure that you won’t miss a word of that fascinating lecture even though you don’t speak Russian, and I’ll convey your thoughts and ideas to your audience. Depending on the situation, I’ll either be at your side, interpreting consecutively (that means we take turns speaking), or you’ll find me in the booth together with a colleague, wearing headphones and speaking into the microphone. This is called simultaneous interpreting and it requires special equipment, a sound engineer, and most importantly, two interpreters. But don’t worry about that – I can always help you arrange everything you need.
